Wire decking is a component we sell with our pallet rack. Shelving Concepts provides a waterfall front wire deck made with a powder coated steel mesh with U channels to provide the most capacity possible for the requested size. The U channel will fit snuggly into your crossbeam’s step down.

What are the benefits of using wire mesh decking?

• Meets Safety Standards – Wire decking allows you to meet fire codes and safety standards. If a fire were to happen, the wire mesh would allow the water from a sprinkler system to flow through the decking to suppress the fire.
• Durability – Wire decking is strong, durable, and resistant to mold and bacteria that might break down the structure of the wire deck.
• Longevity – Wire decking is a long-lasting alternative to wood, which can warp or break down over time.
• Easy installation – Wire decking is quick and easy to install, just place onto your beam structure and it will fall into place.
• Cost effective – Wire decks will last longer than other shelving material, so the replacement is minimal. If there is damage to wire decking, you may only need to replace a couple of them instead of an entire unit of shelving.
