NEW POWDER COATING LINE IN SEALY

Investing in Growth at Our Sealy Facility

Shelving Concepts is proud to announce a major step forward in our expansion efforts. We have recently purchased a state-of-the-art powder coating line from Sumter, South Carolina, and will be relocating it to our new facility in Sealy, Texas. This addition is part of our long-term plan to modernize production, improve quality, and provide even greater value to our customers across Texas and beyond.

As we continue renovations in Sealy, the installation of this new system will play a critical role in transforming the facility into a cutting-edge hub for warehouse shelving and storage solutions. The new paint line will give us the capacity to scale production while also reducing lead times and enhancing product performance.

Why Powder Coating is a Game-Changer

The decision to invest in powder coating technology reflects our commitment to innovation and quality craftsmanship. Unlike traditional liquid paints, powder coating is a dry finishing process that applies a durable, protective layer to metal surfaces. This method offers several key benefits:

  • Exceptional durability – Powder coating resists chips, scratches, corrosion, and fading, ensuring longer-lasting shelving and racking systems.

  • Enhanced appearance – The smooth, uniform finish not only protects but also improves the overall look of our products.

  • Cost efficiency – Reduced maintenance and re-coating requirements save money for both manufacturers and end users.

For customers, this means that every piece of equipment they purchase from Shelving Concepts will maintain its quality and finish for years to come — even in demanding industrial environments.

Strengthening Our Sealy Operations

Bringing this powder coating line to Sealy highlights our long-term investment in Texas. Sealy is strategically located near major transportation routes, allowing us to serve Houston, Austin, San Antonio, and other key markets more efficiently. By consolidating advanced equipment at this site, we are building a stronger foundation for growth.

The new system will help us:

  • Expand production capacity to meet growing demand.

  • Improve consistency in finishes and coatings across all products.

  • Reduce turnaround times, ensuring customers receive shelving and racking faster.

  • Support community growth by creating new opportunities for skilled workers in the region.

Our team is committed to making Sealy not just another warehouse, but a flagship facility that represents the future of Shelving Concepts.

Looking Ahead

The installation of the new powder coating line is just one of several ongoing upgrades at our Sealy location. Renovations continue to move forward, with improvements to the roof, siding, and infrastructure already completed. Each step brings us closer to establishing a fully modernized production facility that will support customers nationwide.

At Shelving Concepts, we believe that growth comes from investing in the right tools, the right people, and the right communities. By bringing advanced equipment like this powder coating line to Sealy, we are preparing for decades of innovation and service.

We look forward to sharing more updates as our facility takes shape — and we thank our customers, partners, and employees for their continued trust as we expand and improve. Together, we’re building stronger solutions for the storage and shelving industry.
